What you’re actually booking

A private charter configured for your group.

This is a real, reservable Freaky Tiki experience—not a shared tour or referral listing. One checkout reserves the private boat, while the date, duration, occasion, guest details, and confirmed requests shape the experience you receive.

Reserve the whole boat

The 40-foot Freaky Tiki is private for your group of 1–22 guests; you are not mixed with another party.

Choose 2–6 hours

Select a 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6-hour charter. Each duration has its own live calendar, starting price, and secure checkout.

Make it fit this experience

Tell the crew what you are celebrating, who is coming, and any music, decoration, vendor, route, or timing requests. Those details help shape your group’s version of Fort Lauderdale Family Boat Charters.

Know what is included

Captain, mate, standard-route fuel, coolers with ice, Bluetooth sound, onboard bathroom, and floating mat are included.

Route, water time, and other experience details can vary with the date, charter length, weather, tides, operating conditions, and requests confirmed with the crew.

A private family boat day with room to stay together

Freaky Tiki welcomes private groups of 1 to 22, making it a useful option for extended families, reunions and multi-family vacations. Everyone shares the same captain, departure and Intracoastal experience instead of dividing between several small rentals or crowded public tours.

Practical comfort for a mixed-age group

Comfortable seating, covered areas, an onboard bathroom, coolers with ice and room to move help a family charter work for guests with different interests. Some can enjoy the views and conversation while others play music or swim from the boat when the captain approves a safe stop.

Choose a scenic cruise or a longer water day

Two or three hours fits younger attention spans, visiting relatives or a cruise before dinner. Four hours adds more flexibility for swimming and floating when conditions allow. Five or six hours works for families who want the charter to be the main vacation activity.

Keep the family plan flexible

Routes and water stops depend on weather, tides, marine traffic, charter length and the captain’s judgment. Share the confirmed pickup information and packing list with every household, then let the crew adapt the day to current conditions while keeping safety first.

Plan with confidence

Plan for comfort across the whole family.

A little coordination around sun, snacks, swimming and transportation makes a multi-generation charter feel easy.

Pack sun protection

Bring reef-safe sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels and light layers appropriate for every guest.

Bring familiar snacks

Use the provided coolers and ice for simple food and drinks that work for your particular family.

Choose the right pace

Shorter trips suit a simple scenic outing; longer charters give active families more time for the water.

Before you board

Good questions. Straight answers.

Is Freaky Tiki good for a family boat charter?

Yes. The private boat has comfortable group seating, an onboard bathroom, coolers with ice and room for up to 22 guests, making it practical for family celebrations and vacation days.

Does a family charter have to be a party trip?

No. The experience can be a relaxed Intracoastal cruise, sightseeing outing, sunset trip or family water day. Your group controls the playlist and tone while the captain manages the route.

How many guests can come aboard?

Freaky Tiki Boat Charters welcomes private groups from 1 to 22 guests. Freaky Tiki is a U.S. Coast Guard-inspected small passenger vessel operating under a Certificate of Inspection (COI) that authorizes it to carry private groups of up to 22 passengers. The COI records vessel-specific operating conditions, including the permitted route, passenger capacity, and minimum crew.

Is Freaky Tiki a good choice for a large group boat charter?

Yes. Freaky Tiki specializes in private large group boat charters for 13 to 22 guests while also welcoming smaller groups. The 40-foot layout, U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Inspection, captain, mate, bathroom, seating, coolers and sound system help the whole guest list stay together on one boat.

Is the charter private?

Yes. Your booking reserves the boat for your group; you are not mixed with unrelated guests.

Can we bring alcohol and food?

Yes. Charters are BYOB for eligible guests. At least one guest age 18 or older must be aboard. Alcohol is allowed only when at least one guest age 21 or older is aboard, and only guests age 21 or older may drink. The person who booked the charter should bring a valid photo ID. Guests may bring any food they want; there are no restrictions on food. The boat has no way to prepare, cook, or heat food, so ready-to-eat choices such as snacks and sandwiches are usually recommended. The boat has two large coolers filled with ice. Guests may bring catering trays, cakes, and any ready-to-serve food, and food may be delivered to the boat before departure when coordinated with the crew. The boat cannot prepare, cook, or heat food and does not provide cups, plates, utensils, napkins, bottled water, or mixers.

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

The onboard bathroom is fully private and toilet paper is provided. Its marine toilet is for liquid waste only; guests who need a bowel movement should use the public restroom at the pickup area before departure.

Can we play our own music?

The boat has a powerful Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth sound system with a 12-inch subwoofer and party lights. Guests can connect a phone by Bluetooth. The boat does not provide a TV, microphone, or karaoke equipment.

Will we always stop at a sandbar?

Sandbar and swim stops depend on charter length, weather, water conditions and the captain’s safety judgment. Check your trip details and ask the team if a sandbar stop is important to your plans.
