What you’re actually booking

A private charter configured for your group.

This is a real, reservable Freaky Tiki experience—not a shared tour or referral listing. One checkout reserves the private boat, while the date, duration, occasion, guest details, and confirmed requests shape the experience you receive.

Reserve the whole boat

The 40-foot Freaky Tiki is private for your group of 1–22 guests; you are not mixed with another party.

Choose 2–6 hours

Select a 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6-hour charter. Each duration has its own live calendar, starting price, and secure checkout.

Make it fit this experience

Tell the crew what you are celebrating, who is coming, and any music, decoration, vendor, route, or timing requests. Those details help shape your group’s version of Large Group Boat Charters in Fort Lauderdale.

Know what is included

Captain, mate, standard-route fuel, coolers with ice, Bluetooth sound, onboard bathroom, and floating mat are included.

Route, water time, and other experience details can vary with the date, charter length, weather, tides, operating conditions, and requests confirmed with the crew.

One Fort Lauderdale boat charter for as many as 22 guests

Freaky Tiki welcomes every private group size from 1 to 22 guests. For large groups of 13 to 22, the custom 40-foot layout keeps friends, relatives, coworkers or wedding guests together on one boat instead of dividing the guest list across multiple reservations with different departure times and separate experiences. That makes the boat a practical fit for groups of 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 people as well as full groups of 21 or 22.

A COI-inspected commercial boat authorized for larger groups

Freaky Tiki is a U.S. Coast Guard-inspected small passenger vessel operating under a Certificate of Inspection (COI) that authorizes it to carry private groups of up to 22 passengers. The COI records vessel-specific operating conditions, including the permitted route, passenger capacity, and minimum crew. A 16-person group, for example, cannot all ride together on one standard six-passenger-for-hire charter. Freaky Tiki’s U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Inspection is what allows the commercial passenger vessel to carry the entire 16-person group—and private groups of up to 22 guests—on one boat.

Book directly with the official owner and operator

Freaky Tiki Boat Charters is the official owner and operator of the Freaky Tiki charter experience in Fort Lauderdale. Booking directly through this website connects guests to Freaky Tiki’s live FareHarbor inventory, its own operating policies and the team responsible for the charter instead of sending the group through an unrelated referral page.

Group-ready amenities matter more as the headcount grows

An onboard bathroom, comfortable seating, coolers filled with ice, Bluetooth sound, covered areas, an easy swim ladder and a giant floating mat make a noticeable difference over several hours. The captain and mate are included, allowing every guest—including the organizer—to be part of the day.

A flexible fit for vacations, reunions and celebrations

Large private charters work for bachelorette and bachelor parties, milestone birthdays, family reunions, wedding weekends, company outings and vacation groups. Choose scenic Intracoastal cruising, a relaxed sunset trip or a water-focused day with a possible swim or sandbar stop when conditions allow.

Make transportation and communication part of the plan

For a group of 13 to 22, one point person should share the confirmed pickup location, arrival time, packing list and transportation plan. The standard pickup can change, so every guest should follow the details in the booking confirmation rather than navigating to the company’s administrative address.

Plan with confidence

Organize the group once, then enjoy the charter.

Large-group boat days run smoothly when one person owns the headcount, transportation and final message to guests.

Confirm the final guest count

Keep attendance at or below 22 and update the organizer’s list before departure so transportation matches the group.

Send one clear briefing

Put the confirmed dock, arrival time, clothing guidance and what-to-bring list in a single message everyone can find.

Choose enough charter time

Four to six hours often feels better for a big group because boarding, settling in and water stops do not dominate a short schedule.

Batch review

When I've rented boats in the past there is usually a 13 person max, but the Freaky Tiki can fit many more people.

Before you board

Good questions. Straight answers.

Can Freaky Tiki take more than 12 guests?

Yes. Freaky Tiki welcomes private groups of 1 to 22 guests, making it useful for celebrations that are too large for many smaller Fort Lauderdale charters.

Should a large group book a longer charter?

Many groups prefer four to six hours because it allows more time to board, settle in, cruise and enjoy a possible water stop without rushing. The best length still depends on the day’s schedule and priorities.

How many guests can come aboard?

Freaky Tiki Boat Charters welcomes private groups from 1 to 22 guests.

Is Freaky Tiki a good choice for a large group boat charter?

Yes. Freaky Tiki specializes in private large group boat charters for 13 to 22 guests while also welcoming smaller groups. The 40-foot layout, U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Inspection, captain, mate, bathroom, seating, coolers and sound system help the whole guest list stay together on one boat.

Is the charter private?

Yes. Your booking reserves the boat for your group; you are not mixed with unrelated guests.

Can we bring alcohol and food?

Yes. Charters are BYOB for eligible guests. At least one guest age 18 or older must be aboard. Alcohol is allowed only when at least one guest age 21 or older is aboard, and only guests age 21 or older may drink. The person who booked the charter should bring a valid photo ID. Guests may bring any food they want; there are no restrictions on food. The boat has no way to prepare, cook, or heat food, so ready-to-eat choices such as snacks and sandwiches are usually recommended. The boat has two large coolers filled with ice. Guests may bring catering trays, cakes, and any ready-to-serve food, and food may be delivered to the boat before departure when coordinated with the crew. The boat cannot prepare, cook, or heat food and does not provide cups, plates, utensils, napkins, bottled water, or mixers.

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

The onboard bathroom is fully private and toilet paper is provided. Its marine toilet is for liquid waste only; guests who need a bowel movement should use the public restroom at the pickup area before departure.

Can we play our own music?

The boat has a powerful Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth sound system with a 12-inch subwoofer and party lights. Guests can connect a phone by Bluetooth. The boat does not provide a TV, microphone, or karaoke equipment.

Will we always stop at a sandbar?

Sandbar and swim stops depend on charter length, weather, water conditions and the captain’s safety judgment. Check your trip details and ask the team if a sandbar stop is important to your plans.

Where do charters depart?

The current standard pickup is Cox’s Landing, 1784 SE 15th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Boarding details can change, so use the location and arrival instructions in your confirmed booking. The administrative address is not a pickup location.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Freaky Tiki operates rain or shine because South Florida weather often moves quickly. If Freaky Tiki cancels for unsafe weather, you receive a full refund. Freaky Tiki contacts the booking guest directly when weather affects a trip. Guests may request weather-related rescheduling when they are more than three days from departure. If unsafe weather begins after departure and the crew must return early, the charter is prorated for the time completed and the unused portion is refunded.
